The Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) has released the official notification for MBBS and BDS admissions under the Convener Quota for the academic year 2025-26. Interested candidates who have qualified in NEET UG 2025 can now apply online for state quota medical and dental seats in Andhra Pradesh.

NEET AP Counselling 2025 Notification important Dates

The Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (Dr. NTRUHS), Vijayawada, has released the official notification for MBBS and BDS admissions under the Competent Authority Quota for the academic year 2025-26. Eligible candidates who qualified in NEET UG 2025 can now submit a single online application and upload scanned original certificates for admission into:

Government Medical and Dental Colleges in Andhra Pradesh
Permitted Government Medical Colleges (General Category seats from 2023-24 onwards)
Private Unaided Non-Minority and Minority Medical and Dental Colleges
Sri Padmavathi Medical College for Women (under SVIMS), Tirupati

Key Details:

Eligibility: NEET UG 2025 qualified candidates who meet the cutoff and other eligibility criteria
Purpose: To determine State Merit Rank for seats under the Competent Authority Quota
Scope of Seats Covered:
- Government Colleges (after 15% AIQ seats are deducted)
- Category ‘A’ seats (50% intake) in Private Non-Minority and Minority Colleges
- MBBS seats in SVIMS – 126 seats for women at Sri Padmavathi Medical College, Tirupati

Important Note on Siddhartha Medical College Admissions (2025-26):

As per G.O.Rt. No.475 dated 22-07-2025 by Govt. of AP, Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada, will continue as a state-wide institution. Admission to 85% of seats (excluding AIQ) will be distributed among local candidates of:

Andhra University region: 65.62%
Sri Venkateswara University region: 34.38%
The remaining 15% seats will be unreserved.

NEET AP Counselling 2026: Important Dates:

Application Start Date: July 16, 2025 (from 9:00 AM)
Last Date to Apply: July 29, 2025 (up to 9:00 PM)
With Late Fee of ₹5,000: July 30 and 31, 2025

Register using NEET details and mobile number.
Fill in the online application form carefully.
Upload required certificates.
Pay the application fee as per your category.

Application Fee:

General/OBC: ₹3,540
SC/ST/PwD: ₹2,950

SSC/10th Certificate (for Date of Birth proof)
Intermediate (10+2) Marks Memo
Caste Certificate (if applicable)
EWS/Minority/Disability/Residence Certificates (if applicable)

Seat Distribution:

85% of MBBS and BDS seats are reserved for local candidates (AP State)
15% will be filled under the unreserved (non-local) quota through AIQ counselling

Important Notes:

Only candidates qualified in NEET UG 2025 and having studied in Andhra Pradesh are eligible.
Separate counselling will be conducted for management quota and NRI quota seats.
