The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Mitsui Kinzoku Components India Private Limited (MKCI) and the School of Advanced Sciences, VIT-AP University.
Dr. S V Kota Reddy, Vice-Chancellor, VIT–AP University after signing the MoU with MKCI, said that this collaboration will help faculty and students to get an opportunity to conduct advanced level collaborative research in Sciences and Technologies and they can get enough scope to involve themselves in different career development activities.
Moreover, this collaboration may bring excellent research projects and industrial consultancy. Many events like training programs, faculty development programs, workshops, conferences may be organised together. Industry professionals can share their knowledge with the students in different guest lecture events. They can give their expertise to develop the courses and to prepare the curriculum industry-ready.
Mr Shimada Masakazu, Managing Director, MKCI told that this collaboration must bring Industry and Academia together. Industry professionals, scientists, professors, students can perform joint research ventures under this agreement. Many patents can be published and granted jointly. 2.VIT-AP School of Law signs MoU with Wordict-IP URL- VIT AP School of Law signs MoU with Wordict IP (VIT-AP University, Wordict-IP) Signing ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the VIT-AP School of Law (VSL), VIT-AP University and Wordict-IP was held virtually by VIT-AP University on 22nd July 2021. Dr. S. V. Kota Reddy, Vice-Chancellor of VIT-AP University signed the MoU and addressed the gathering. During his address highlighted that the University has committed to establish Centres of Excellence in Intellectual Property, New Emerging Technologies and Law and other centres of excellence to encourage the clinical, research and practical application of law to the future legal professionals. He further added that the centres of excellence will work holistically to provide suitable solutions to the society and to provide legal empowerment to the people.
The academic collaboration with Wordict-IP would help students to equip industry and practice ready in the areas of Intellectual Property Law which includes, copy rights, trade marks, patents and geographical indication Filings. It will also facilitate research collaborations, student mentoring (including training students to prepare for IP Moot court competitions), knowledge partnership, internships (Virtual and Physical), guest lectures, workshops, symposiums, seminars, and IP awareness programmes.

This will also provide an opportunity to the students, scholars, and faculty members to carry out research and to develop several advanced applications using VLSI and RF Technologies. Further, Entuple Technologies will provide internships and job opportunities to selected students of VIT-AP University.
