National Institute of Oceanography Notification 2022 for Project Associate & Project Assistant

The CSIR – National Institute of Oceanography, invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of the following project staff, purely on a temporary contractual basis to carry out research work on the R&D project and to be engaged in NIO Head Quarters, Goa.

Project Associate II: 01 Post

Qualification: M.Sc Marine Biology / Marine Science / Biochemistry or equivalent with minimum two years research experience in the relevant field plus NET/ GATE qualification.

Age Limit: 35 years

Emolument: Rs.35,000/- Plus HRA as per rules

Project Associate I: 03 Posts

Qualification: M.Sc/ M.Tech in Marine Science/ Environmental Science/ Environmental Engineering/ Aquaculture/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology or equivalent.

Age Limit: 35 years

Emolument: Rs.25,000/- Plus HRA as per rules

Project Assistant: 01 Post

Qualification: Three-Years Diploma in Electronics/ Electronics and Communication/ Information Technology/ Computer Engineering/ Computer hardware and networking; OR B.Sc in Electronics/ Computer Science/ Information Technology OR BCA.

Age Limit: 50 years

Emolument: Rs.20,000/- Plus HRA as per rules

Project Associate I: 01 Post

Qualification: Masters in Remote Sensing/ Physical Oceanography/ Geo-informatics.

Age Limit: 35 years

Emolument: Rs.25,000/- Plus HRA as per rules

Project Associate I: 02 Posts

Qualification: Masters Degree in Ocean Science/ Oceanography/ Marine Science with with Physical Oceanography specialization or masters degree in Physical Oceanography.

Age Limit: 35 years

Emolument: Rs.25,000/- Plus HRA as per rules

a)      CV/Bio Data with recent color photograph

b)      Educational Qualification Certificate as mentioned in the advertisement essential qualification/ Semester Mark sheet or Final Mark sheet is compulsory. Along with this, Degree Award Certificate or Provisional Award Certificate. Percentage or CGPA should clearly displayed on any one of the certificate. If certificate doesn’t have proper percentage / CGPA / Grade then the application may not be considered. The candidate must ensure to provide proper certificates to ensure their eligibility for the said positions.
