High Court Cancelled TSPSC Group-1 Prelims 2023 Exam
The court ordered the TSPSC to cancel the Group-1 Prelims examination held on June 11 and re-conduct the exams. It is known that Group-1 preliminary exam has been conducted to fill up 503 jobs in Telangana. A total of 3.80 lakh candidates have applied for the TSPSC Group-1 posts, out of which 2,32,457 candidates have appeared for the examination.

Many candidates approached the High Court against the non-biometric system and issuing the OMR sheet without the hall ticket number. The court decided to cancel the exam because of this reason. Earlier Group -1 Exam was cancelled due to paper leak. This is the second time that group-1 has been cancelled.
The High Court previously asked TSPSC why it was negligent in conducting the Group-1 examination in the state. TS High Court questioned TSPSC why the biometrics of the candidates were not taken during the conduct of Group-1 Prelims. TS High Court ordered TSPSC to file a counter within three weeks with complete details.
