DRDO Internship 2025 for Engineering & Science Students

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) through its premier laboratory DRDL (Defence Research and Development Laboratory), Hyderabad, is inviting applications for a 6-month paid internship program for final-year students pursuing graduate and postgraduate degrees in Engineering and Physical Sciences. This internship offers a monthly stipend of ₹5,000, along with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in advanced missile technology at DRDL/ASL/CAS labs in Hyderabad.

Today (14 July 2025) is the last date to apply. Interested and eligible students must apply immediately by speed post and email.

The Principal/Director must issue a recommendation letter endorsing meritorious students.

Biodata
Aadhar card and College ID
Character Certificate from the college
Police verification certificate

Eligibility Criteria

Education: Final-year students pursuing B.Tech/B.E./M.Tech/M.Sc in relevant disciplines from AICTE/UGC-approved institutions.
Marks: At least 60% or equivalent CGPA.
Age: Below 28 years as of 14 July 2025.

Internship Duration & Certificate

Duration: 6 months

A Completion Certificate will be awarded only to candidates who:

Complete the entire duration
Submit a project report
Clear evaluation
Fulfill all formalities

Stipend Details

₹5,000/month (paid in 2 installments)

1st installment: After 3 months
2nd installment: On successful completion

Minimum 15 working days/month attendance is mandatory
Direct credit to the student’s bank account
No lodging provided; subsidized meals/snacks available

Selection Procedure

Shortlisting based on academic merit
Interaction/Interview for final selection

Must submit:

Undertaking form
Indemnity bond (by student & institution)
Original documents for verification
