When is Civil Services day observed?

Civil Services day is celebrated on April 21st every year, the day is observed by all Civil Services to re-dedicate and re-commit themselves to the cause of the people.
  • The day provides a unique opportunity for introspection as also for working out future strategies to deal with the challenges being posed by the ever changing times.
  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi has wished all the Civil Servants on the occasion of Civil Services Day. Mr. Modi said, in different terrains and across different sectors, they are working tirelessly to help our citizens and enhance national progress.
  • Minister of State for Prime Minister Office Dr. Jitendra Singh and Cabinet Secretary Rajiv Gauba have greeted the civil servants on the occasion of Civil Services Day.
  • Dr. Jitendra Singh said, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, when India is a front line warrior against corona, India's Civil Services are contributing substantially to live upto this unprecedented challenge.
  • Cabinet Secretary lauded the efforts of civil servants during the battle against Covid-19 pandemic. He appealed the civil servants to continue their fight against the pandemic and work with a common vision for good governance with an objective of improving the lives of citizens.
