APGENCO: Assistant Executive Engineers Direct Recruitment Procedure

The Managing Director of Andhra Pradesh Power Generation Corporation Limited (APGENCO) has issued the following procedure for method of direct recruitment for the posts of Assistant Executive Engineers in APGENCO shall be through valid GATE Score (One year validity) instead of conducting written test as adopted by APGENCO.

  1. Only those candidates who qualify in the written examination by being ranked high, community wise will be selected provisionally as per rules in vogue.

Only candidates who have a valid GATE score in the particular discipline may apply (Score to be of GATE exam within one year from the date of notification for recruitment).
The Candidates by being ranked high as per the GATE score, community wise will be selected provisionally without any interview as per rules in vogue.

  1. The candidates will be selected and allotted to Zones/ Generation stations as per the rank in the merit list and as per zonal preferences for allotment of non local candidates against vacancies available. Selection shall be made on state wide merit, in respect of non-local candidate and allotment to zone shall be made as per the preference give by candidates in his /her online application, against the actual vacancies.
