Inter Weightage Scrapped for EAMCET 2023!

The weightage of inter marks has been scrapped for TS EAMCET 2023. Now, the rank will be given on the basis of the marks obtained in EAMCET.

Education Secretary Vakati Karuna gave orders to scrap inter weightage while deciding TS EAMCET 2023 rank. Due to Covid, conditions have arisen where intermediate examinations could not be conducted properly. 70% of the syllabus has been implemented till 2022. As a result, TS EAMCET ranks were given without weightage of inter marks.

Students studying in corporate colleges are getting more intermediate marks and students in rural areas are getting low marks due to many reasons, so there is a situation where rural students are losing in EAMCET ranks. After reviewing all these, the education department scrapped the weightage of inter marks.
