- In the 12th Hockey India Junior Men's National Championship, Uttar Pradesh will take on Chandigarh in the title clash on May 29th evening. The match will begin at Kovilpatti in Thoothukudi district of Tamil Nadu on 7.30 P.M.
- In the semi finals, Uttar Pradesh defeated Haryana by two goals to one, while Chandigarh beat Odisha by three to one in penalty shoot- out, after both the sides equalled with two goals each in the stipulated time.
- Prior to the match between Odisha and Haryana for 3rd and 4th place will also be played.
