• Two newly-elected members of Rajya Sabha Aneel Prasad Hegde and RavichandraVaddiraju took oath.
• Rajya Sabha Chairman M. Venkaiah Naidu administered oath to them in Parliament House. JD(U) leader Mr Hegde has been elected from Bihar while TRS leader Mr. Vaddiraju from Telangana.
