- “The National Flag shall be made of hand-spun and hand-woven or machine-made, cotton, polyester, wool, silk khadi bunting” is what the latest revision acknowledged.
- Flag Code of India, 2002 came into force on January 26, 2002. India’s flag code was separated into three sections. Part 1 comprises general descriptions of the National Flag, while Part 2 deals with the display of the National Flag by private and public organisations, and Part 3 deals with the exhibition of the National Flag by the State and Central Governments and their agencies.
