India administers over 64.05 crore doses of COVID vaccine

India has administered over 64 crore five lakh doses of COVID vaccine so far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive. Union Health Ministry said, more than 59 lakh 62 thousand vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours.
The Ministry said, 36 thousand 275 Covid patients recovered during the last 24 hours and the national recovery rate has reached 97.53 per cent. Till now, more than three crore 19 lakh people have recovered from COVID-19.
The country reported 30 thousand 941 new cases in last 24 hours. Currently, India’s active caseload is at around three lakh 70 thousand. The active cases constitute 1.13 per cent of the total reported cases. However, the daily positivity rate stands at 2.22 per cent.
The Ministry said, around 52 crore 15 lakh COVID-19 tests have been conducted so far. Over 13 lakh 94 thousand tests were conducted the next day.
