Swachh Vayu Diwas
The International Day of Clean Air for Blue Skies (Swachh Vayu Diwas) was observed on 7th September 2024 in Jaipur. 
Swachh Vayu Survekshan Awards: Best performing NCAP cities were awarded under three categories:

  • Category-1 (Population over 10 Lakhs): Surat, Jabalpur, Agra.

Semiconductor manufacturing project 

  • Israel’s Tower Semiconductor and India’s Adani Group are planning a significant investment of 839.47 billion rupees ($10 billion) in a semiconductor manufacturing project in Maharashtra. The plant will initially produce 40,000 wafers. This initiative is part of a larger investment strategy in the state, which also includes two new electric vehicle manufacturing units.
