The GATE 2025 admit cards have been released by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee on January 7, 2025. You can download your admit card from the official website: gate2025.iitr.ac.in.

To download your admit card, follow these steps:

• Visit the official GATE website: https://gate2025.iitr.ac.in/
• Click on the "Download Admit Card" link on the homepage.
• Log in using your enrolment ID and password.
• Enter the security captcha displayed on the screen.
• Click the "Submit" button.
• Your admit card will appear on the screen.
• Download and print the admit card for future reference.

The GATE 2025 exam pattern is designed to assess the understanding of various engineering and science disciplines. Here are the key details:

Exam Pattern:

Mode of Examination: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
 

Duration: 3 hours
 

Number of Questions: 65 questions
 

Types of Questions:

• Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs): 1-mark and 2-mark questions
• Multiple Select Questions (MSQs): No negative marking
• Numerical Answer Type (NAT) Questions: No negative marking

Negative Marking:

• For 1-mark MCQs: 1/3 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer
• For 2-mark MCQs: 2/3 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer
• Total Marks: 100 marks

Distribution of Marks:

• General Aptitude: 15 marks
• Engineering Mathematics: 13 marks
• Subject Questions: 72 marks

Exam Schedule:

• Dates: February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025
• Shifts: Two shifts each day - Morning (9:30 AM to 12:30 PM) and Afternoon (2:30 PM to 5:30 PM)
