Students must secure a minimum of 33% marks to pass.

Punjab Board Class 8 Performance Analysis

In 2024, 2,91,917 students appeared, with a 98.31% overall pass rate.
Girls achieved a 98.83% pass rate, while boys recorded 97.84%.
In 2023, government schools had a 97.88% pass rate, private schools had 99.12%, and aided schools recorded 94.44%.
