The Odisha Board of Secondary Education (BSE) successfully conducted the High School Certificate (HSC) Exam 2024, which concluded on Thursday with the third language subjects, Sanskrit and Hindi.
The evaluation process is set to begin on March 19, 2024, with results expected to be announced in the first week of May, according to BSE President Srikant Tarai. Around 20,000 teachers will be involved in the answer sheet evaluation.

- The Odisha HSC Exam was conducted from February 21 to March 7, 2024, across 3,133 exam centers in the state.
- The examination was completed smoothly, except for an error in the General Science paper, where a four-mark question was missing in one set.
- The BSE has assured students that the issue has been considered for evaluation, and necessary compensatory marks will be awarded.
Enhanced Security Measures for HSC Exam 2024
To minimize malpractices and question paper leaks, the BSE implemented advanced security measures, including:
- Watermarks and QR codes on question papers to prevent leaks.
- AI-based CCTV cameras in exam centers, significantly reducing incidents of cheating.
