The government has allocated a substantial budget of nearly ₹6,000 crore over three years to support this ambitious project.

Promoting Research and Development:

The Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) will play a crucial role in monitoring the usage of ONOS and encouraging publications by Indian researchers. The Department of Higher Education will launch a dedicated portal to facilitate access to the subscribed journals.

A Brighter Future for Indian Research:

The ONOS scheme is a significant step towards empowering India's research community. By providing easy access to world-class research resources, the government aims to boost India's global research footprint and propel the nation towards a knowledge-driven future.
